BA World Cargo adds capacity in China with Beijing dailies (05/06/2006)

British Airways World Cargo today announced added capacity in China with the launch of daily line flights to Beijing, effective from 7 June 2006.

BA World Cargo currently operates six weekly line flights to Beijing and the addition of a new B777-236 service will provide BA World Cargo's customers with an additional fifteen tonnes of capacity every week and greater access to the carrier's global network spanning 200 destinations in over 80 countries.

Baba Devani, vice president sales and international customer service, BA World Cargo said: "This increased capacity into Beijing reinforces BA World Cargo's commitment to the Asia Pacific region and strengthens our service in one of the fastest growing markets in the world."

Michelle Chu, area commercial manager, Greater China, BA World Cargo, also commented: "This service will provide our customers with greater flexibility and choice when arranging shipments and will be very beneficial to local producers and exporters."
