British Airways World Cargo is Forwarders Choice for Middle East and Africa (19/06/2002)

Canadian freight forwarders have voted British Airways World Cargo their preferred carrier to both the Middle East and Africa, in the Forwarders Choice Awards.

"I am delighted that we have been presented with these awards and there is no question that this endorses the efforts of our Canadian team," said Robert Kujala, Senior Vice-President Americas, British Airways World Cargo. "At a time when we are close to introducing our new product portfolio, these awards are an indication that we should face the future with optimism."

The results of the Forwarders Choice Awards are determined by balloting members of the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association, central division.

Forwarders vote for their preferred carrier to eight parts of the world. Of the eight regions, four regions, Europe, Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa, would be thought of in the Canadian market as primary destinations for UK or European airlines. British Airways World Cargo was the forwarders choice for two of those four.
