Fuel Surcharge Decrease (24/11/2005)

British Airways World Cargo today announced a decrease to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be GBP 0.30/kg / USD 0.45/kg / EUR 0.45/kg, with effect from 8th December.

The fuel surcharge decrease follows a second consecutive week that the fuel index has been below the level 9 threshold. The index was developed by BA World Cargo to provide customers with more information about the calculation of fuel surcharges. It is updated on a weekly basis and posted on the British Airways World Cargo website.
